Perfect Pics by Ash

Ash had to take pictures for a school assignment and she asked if she could come and take picture of the girls. Of course the girls would never miss out on an opportunity at being the center of attention..... Here are a few pictures that Ash took... great job and perfect pictures.

Success all around

The girls have had a successful first week at school and gymnastic class.

They both enjoy school and love their teachers. I am amazed at how quickly they blended into this small town school. We have already had a week of homework and I think I cried more tha
n
Kate did. They both view school as just a big "social gathering" and believe me, I hear it every morning when we fight over what outfit to wear, what shoes look "stupid" and how they can't get their hair to look right. Mornings in the Sellick house is nothing but pure "FUN".....

Tonight was the first gymnastic class and I think they both did great. Hanna decided to join and I'm shocked at how good she looked considering this was her first class. This year the classes are much smaller so they both get more individual time with the instructor.

Oh.. pick me... pick me

Coocoo enjoys the deminstrations put on by the New York State Troopers and not even 5 minutes after we joined the crowd did the head Trooper asked for a volunteer. Coocoo and I point at each other so the Trooper pulls out a coin and asked us flip for it. Before I knew it, Coocoo was up on her feet enjoying her 15 minutes of fame.
She quickly learnt that she just volunteered to be the "test dummy" in the next deminstration!! Watch how her smile turns into a frown!!! haha

The summer of 2009's final finale

The 2009 State Fair
Every year we close the summer with the State Fair. We had great weather, good fair food, and no big fights!!! Wow, now that's how I like it. I am ready for this summer to come to a close and get these girls back into school.

Just not that special

The girls and I heard that the local Elks Club had great pizza and wings on Thursday nights. Hanna has been asking for months to go and enjoy the food so I decided (unexpectedly) tonight was the night that we were trying it out for ourselves! For some reason I was under the impression that the Club was open to the public onThurdays but boy was I wrong. I called up a friend and arranged for the girls and I to be "sponsered" by a member for the evening. Kate over heard me joking about how we were just not special enough to be apart of "this club" and that did not sit well with her. I had to listen to 20 mins of Kate's theories on why we were prefect for their club and if not, why we should start our own club. By the end of dinner she had thought up our club name, what food we would serve and who would be allowed to attend. I just hope she charges you all club membership fees......
