Halloween 2009

Despite the weather the girls and I had a great Halloween. We met up with friends in Watertown for some early trick or treating (in hopes to avoid the rain). I think we can consider this year a success, plunty of candy, wind blown but most importantly.... no rain !!!
I asked Hanna to show me her mean face!!!

I then asked them to show me what it would look like if they actually got along today !!!!!!

And this was the one moment today that Miss Kate looked happy.......... she did not want to stand up for the picture because ..... "Mom, I have a cape on, do you want me to FLY AWAY".........

Rescue 911

Saturday afternoon the girls found four abandoned kittens. They rushed home to tell me all about what they found and I instantly knew my weekend plans had changed.... I'd be staying home caring for these little guys because "we can't just leave them out there all alone". (per kate and Hanna)

Here we come to save the day...... oh and don't forget feedings every two hours... :) To be honest, it's going to be difficult dropping these little guys off at the SPCA tomorrow. I have a soft spot for them because in just 24 hours you can see them gain strength and want to interact. My girls have big hearts and they both did a great job helping me care for these little guys.
