2010 Baseball Season

Hanna started her Baseball Season a few weeks ago and Kate will start her's on Monday, May 10th.

Hanna had her FIRST game today. She got walked twice and scored one point for her team. Not much action out in the field to report but she stayed ready the whole time, just in case.

Yes, that's the ball far outside. No matter what, Hanna never takes her eyes off the pitcher:)

The wind was so bad today that at one point I looked up and saw Hanna running in the outfield when she was suppose to be on second base. The poor girl was attempting to catch her helmet as it flew out to center field.

Kate goes NOWHERE without running into a good friend of hers. They both did a great job cheering on Hanna despite the strong wind and spitting rain.

Hanna goes to work

Hanna came to work with me today. She got to sit and watch a Court session, meet the Judge and District Attorney but more importantly she got to be the center of attention for the whole day. Hanna was the only student attending National Bring Your Child To Work Day.

Hanna asked two questions,
1. When is lunch?
2. When do we get done? (hehe)

Both girls have wanted to come to work with me for the past two years. The Court System requires that the child must be at least 8 years old. So, this morning Hanna got up all excited that she was coming to work with me but Katelyn stayed in bed yelling, "I'm not getting out of this bed until I'm 8"!!!

Itchiban

My parents came up for Spring Break. The girls and I finally got to take them to our favorite restaurant, Itchiban. I'm not sure but I think everyone had a great time.

Easter 2010

They continued the tradition and spend our Easter with family. On Saturday we all get together for egg coloring and pizza. On Sunday we eat and have the Easter egg hunt. The girls look forward to finding the plastic eggs filled with money. Every year they go home with a pocket full of money and a basket full of goodies. Can't beat that!!!

We're Back

The girls and I are doing great.. I have not been able to upload in some time so it's nice to be back and updating. The ladies have been busy with school, gymnastics, and now baseball. They continue to excell in class and at socializing. We love where we are at and it's great watching them do so well.

Kate got dress up shoes and new PJS!!!!

Poppi got the girls $100.00 each! I don't think Ihave ever seen their eyes get so big !!!!

Girls got up at 4:55 am this morning but I quickly convinced them to go back to bed until 7:00 am. Before Hanna went back to bed she reorganized the gifts and peeked in her stocking. Kate came right back to bed but got up at 6:55 am and informed me ever so patently every time the clock moved closer to 7:00 am.

Waking up is hard to do for some of us!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!! Hanna's teacher is the young lady watching with a proud smile in the picture above. They have a great relationship which allows Hanna to look forward to each school day.

Hanna was very brave and tried out for the solo, she was not chosen but I was just proud that she had the courage to try out!!!
